Registration for the International Competition will open in January, marking the start of the Korea International Ceramic Biennale 2021.

 

KICB International Competition started in 2001 at the World Ceramic Expo with the mission of proposing the direction and vision for the future of world ceramic art. 

It will be held for the 10th time in 2021.

 

International Competition has been driving the discourse on ceramics that explores the diversity, future value of ceramic art, 

and fostering new possibilities for reinterpreting traditional values, 

thereby cementing itself as one of the most prestigious international events in the realm of ceramics all around the world.

 

In 2021, the format of the International Competition will revert to an artwork open call. 

The previous competitions, in 2017, were an artwork open call.

 

The exhibition will be held online in addition to the on-site exhibition due to the changes in how we enjoy art in the new era.
