Sam Chung is a second-generation Korean-American ceramic artist and professor of art. In his current work, he references traditional Korean cloud motifs and pottery shapes while juxtaposing the past with the present through his vivid imagery. The clouds represent a phenomenon that is constantly in flux and corresponds to his own questions of belonging within or outside the culture.
