In my work, I reference pattern motifs from sacred architecture, in particular Islamic mosques and Gothic cathedrals. I am interested in adapting and modifying these patterns by digital means and slotting and combining them in ways that reference contemporary times. The main focus of my work deals with the search for solitude and how patterns within architecture facilitate this experience.
