나의 작품은 추상 조각으로 스케치에 뿌리를 두고 있다. 그저 생각을 끄적거리는 것처럼 천진스레 스케치를 시작하여 현대 사회에서 벌어지는 사건들과 병폐들과 정면충돌할 때까지 스케치를 계속한다. 격렬하게 스케치를 하면서 우리 주변의 세계의 아름다움과 혼란을 어떻게 파헤쳐 나가는 것이 최선인지에 대하여 깨닫게 된다.
My work embraces abstraction and is heavily rooted in the practice of drawing. Sculptures began innocently like a meditative doodle until colliding with the current events and ills of contemporary society. Drawing out loud aids me in understanding how best to navigate the beauty and chaos of the world around me.
