내가 도자기 작업을 하는 이유는 내가 이전에 본적이 없는 것들을 보기 위한 것이다. 내가 완전히 이해하거나 설명할 수 없는 것을 형태로 만들기 위한 것이다. 도자기를 만들면서 나는 작업자인 동시에 화가가 된다. 나는 색조와 색상에 대한 탐구는 물론이고 형태와 구조도 다룰 수 있는 도예가이다.
Part of the reason for making is to see things that I have never seen before?to build something that I cannot fully understand or explain. Working with ceramics, I can be both builder and painter; I can handle shape and structure as well as explore tone and colour.
