점토를 사용하여 형태, 표면, 색상, 질감 사이에 끈임 없이 일어나는 드라마와 갈등을 강조한다. 또한 시간이 지나면서 이 모든 요소들이 어떻게 서로에게 영향을 미치는지를 탐구한다. 자연은 조화를 갈망하며 균형 속에서 번창하지만 불협화음과 충돌을 필요로 하는 에너지에 의존한다.

With clay, I emphasize the constant drama and struggle between form, surface, color, texture, and how the passing time has an effect on all of these. Nature yearns for harmony, thrives on balance, but feeds on energy which needs dissonance and conflict.
