나는 도자의 전통과 미술 운동인 미니멀리즘과 추상표현주의에 기초하여 도자기 용기 형태를 탐구한다. 질감과 색깔이 결합되어 조화를 이루는 표면과 활기가 넘치고 분명한 느낌을 주는 형태를 만들기 위하여 작업과정에서 절제와 즉흥적인 감정 사이에서 균형을 잡는 것을 목표로 한다.

Following ceramic traditions and art movements of minimalism and abstract expressionism, my work is a formal exploration of the ceramic vessel. I aim for a balance between restraint and spontaneity in my practice to achieve articulate form activated by its surface treatment, where texture and color become integrated within.
