My work is a meditation on nature as a concept defined and mediated by the culture we inhabit. Mythologies of an earthly paradise and utopian visions of the natural world, deeply rooted and resonant in the popular imagination, are the original inspiration for <Itinerant Edens>, an ongoing series of installations in moist clay.
