나는 형태는 없지만, 에너지나 존재처럼 인간의 의식 속에 분명히 존재하는 것을 추구한다. 점토를 성형하고 유약을 입힌 후 초벌 소성, 재벌 소성을 거치는 작업의 전체 과정은 개인으로서의 나 자신을 정돈시켜 준다. 이 과정은 내면의 나를 대하는 시간이다.

I seek the intangible, but something, like an energy or presence, that surely exists in our human consciousness. The whole process from forming the clay, glazing, firing, building a kiln, then again firing, sets an order to myself as an individual, and it, the whole process, is the time to face my inner self.
