나는 집과 작업실을 오가면서 끊임없이 변하는 그림자와 빛의 강도를 즐긴다. 안개, 비, 구름 사이로 비치는 빛 ? 구름을 지나가는 빛, 구름 위 빛, 새벽 첫 번째 빛, 석양, 어둠 속으로 사라지는 빛, 달빛, 자욱한 빛, 열기와 태양이 질 때 그 순간, 순간적으로 대지와 하늘을 붉게 물들이는 저녁 노을 ? 이런 모든 빛이 광채를 발하는 표면에 담겨져 있다.
In my environment, there are constantly changing shades and intensities of light as I go between my home and studio: light through mist, rain, clouds - passing, light on clouds, first light, sunset, fading light, moon light, dust, heat and the moment the sun goes down, that after-glow that changes for just a moment the land and sky. This is reflected in my lustrous surfaces.
