‘이상적인’ 어린이 형상을 몰드로 한 점 만들어서 <도자기 데비드> 시리즈를 제작하였다. 이 시리즈는 다양한 마무리 작업을 거쳐서 상이한 정체성을 지닌 형태들의 집합으로 발전한다. ‘이상화란 무엇인가’에 대하여 질문을 던지면서 관람객을 감동시키고 그들의 존재감을 느끼게 만들 수 있는 이유는 도자기라는 매체가 정체성을 구체적으로 보여줄 수 있는 재료이기 때문이다.

A mold of the ‘ideal’ child figure allows for a series of cCeramics Davids to be built. This series develops into a range of identities through different treatments. It is the material concreteness of these identities that moves us whilest questioning the idealization and make ability of our existence.
